Adlerian therapy can be divided into 4 stages. They are not linear and frequently intertwine with each other in order to achieve insight and growth within the therapeutic process.

Assessment (learning about you)

It involves gathering information about your present and past life and getting to know your story and circumstances.

Insight (seeing the full picture)

We will work together to understand and see the full picture of your life and help you gain insight from it.

Engagement (building trust)

At the start we will aim to develop a trusting and cooperative therapeutic relationship where you'd feel encouraged to explore your life and issues. This is the most important part of any therapeutic work.

Reorientation (action for growth)

The final phase involves taking action by putting new insights into practice. I will encourage you to change your perspectives and beliefs, adopt more constructive behaviours in daily life and move towards connection.
